Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor (El Dorado Trail)

On Wednesday, April 11, at 6pm, in the Marshall Building (Fairgrounds),
the Joint Powers authority representatives will begin discussions about the use of the old railroad corridor for rail excursions.

Up to this time, there has been little conversation about the use of the corridor for bikes, peds, and equestrians; the JPA's agendas and energies
have been heavily dominated by rail road interests.

If you think you want to see people walking and riding between the
American River Trail and Placerville and beyond, you need to come and
express your thoughts. This will be the first of three tentative meetings
that will encourage people to discuss how they would like to see the
corridor managed. Please come to the meeting.
