When was the last time you tried something new? This year I tried mountain biking, and much to my surprise – I really enjoyed it! What a difference shocks and light weight materials have made. It was the difference between trying to rattle the fillings out of my teeth and riding a roller coaster.
Next I needed a mountain bike. I decided more criteria then my favorite color was needed. This purchase required several visits to the Placerville Bike shop, hours of conversations with Bob and Andrew, surfing the web for reviews, and talking to local mountain bike owners. The result: Trek Fuel EX 8 WSD.
I think Jojo best described it when I let her take my bike for a spin. I said, “rides like a Cadillac, huh?” She said, “No, it’s like a freakin Ferrari!” Now imagine giving a Ferrari to a 16 year old kid with a brand new drivers license.
